Job summary

Witham Memorial Hospital’s Witham Medical Group in Lebanon, IN is seeking PRN Medical Assistants (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a Days PRN float pool. The position supports outpatient care across multiple Witham Medical Group locations, working under a physician’s supervision to perform clinical tasks and vital signs collection.

Requirements include graduation from an MA program or LPN schooling, a valid Indiana license (LPN preferred), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from a medical assistants program or hold a relevant diploma.
• Must hold a valid diploma or current certification to practice as a medical assistant; certification preferred.
• Graduate from a licensed practical nursing program and hold a valid Indiana nursing license.
• CPR certification required or obtained at WHS.
• Training will be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient data including vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, respirations, pulse).
• Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy and administer injections as delegated by physician.
• Communicate patient needs to the healthcare team and participate in multidisciplinary care.
• Provide professional nursing care in outpatient settings under physician supervision.
