Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review previous medical information and gather updated health information.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Develop individual patient care plans with care team.
• Perform front desk duties including patient scheduling.
• Record accurate data in the medical record.
• Process test results and provide timely patient updates.
• Participate in patient outreach to drive engagement.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies.
