Job summary

Marathon Health Inc is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join their team in Salem, Ohio. In this role, you will support a primary care physician by providing comprehensive patient care, including both clinical and front desk duties. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience, relevant certifications, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review previous medical information and gather updated health information.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations.
• Develop individual patient plans of care.
• Front desk duties including scheduling and documentation.
• Record accurate and pertinent data in the medical record.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients.
• Participate in patient outreach to drive engagement.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies.
