Job summary

Haxtun Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support within our clinic. You will assist healthcare providers, admit patients, and help maintain exam room readiness and supplies, while ensuring timely scheduling and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

This PRN, non-exempt position offers day shifts with a pay range of $18.00–$28.08 per hour, plus a 10% PRN differential and 15% weekend differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Medical Assistant or other patient care related experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS); must currently possess or be able to obtain within 120 days.
• Colorado State CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and clinic staff.
• Conducts patient admissions and assessments, assists with examinations and procedures.
• Maintains exam room readiness and medical supplies; schedules appointments and diagnostic tests.
• Enters provider-directed orders into the EHR and responds to emergencies as required.
• Promotes patient safety and delivers high-quality patient care.
