Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical for PRN day shifts (7am–7pm). A minimum of 2 shifts every 6 weeks is required. The 18-bed Medical Unit serves a variety of adult medical patients with occasional surgical cases.

RN license in NC or compact, ADN required with BSN preferred, and 2+ years Med-Surg experience are expected. The role emphasizes assessments, planning, documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with opportunities for

• Current NC RN license or multi-state (compact) license.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 2+ years of Med-Surg RN experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Completes initial and ongoing assessments.
• Assessments include physical, psychosocial, environmental and discharge planning needs.
• Performs plan of care including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided and monitors condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines for coordinated care and transfers.
• Provides patient/family education tailored to age and culture.
