Rutherford Regional Health System in Rutherfordton, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit for PRN Days, 7am–7pm, to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients. This 18-bed unit emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care.

The role requires a NC RN license, an Associate degree in Nursing, and at least 2 years of Med Surg experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with BLS certification and strong critical thinking under pressure.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in NC (compact or NC license).
• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Completes initial and ongoing assessments.
• Assessments include physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, age appropriate, cultural and discharge planning needs.
