Qualifications

• KY Massage Therapist license required upon hire.
• First Aid certification required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma or GED required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the massage room for a professional atmosphere including lighting, temperature, aromas and water features.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the massage room and equipment.
• Perform massage services according to the client’s desired level of pressure.
• Adapt techniques for diverse populations and both on-site and at off-site events/health fairs.
• Communicate with clients to ensure comfort, privacy and appropriate technique; maintain client records.
