Job summary

Novant Health Wilmington Surgical Associates is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform stereotactic biopsies and mammography in an outpatient setting, partnering with three breast surgeons and a skilled clinical team.

This role requires ARRT Radiography and Mammography certification, state license, and the ability to work Mondays and Tuesdays; schedule is alternating weeks, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved Radiography program graduate.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography (RT(R)(M)).
• Applicable state license is required.
• Analytical ability, good communication, and ability to adapt care to patient age and needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures with a safe, compassionate patient experience.
• Prepare and position patients for mammography based on care needs.
• Communicate with patients during the procedure to keep them informed and comfortable.
• Collaborate with the breast care team to support coordinated patient care.
