Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform routine and diagnostic breast imaging with minimal supervision. The role requires ARRT Mammography certification, 2+ years of experience, and excellent patient communication in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The position involves coordinating with radiologists, transferring images, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. No travel and benefits are provided with eligibility.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in Mammography – preferred
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Performs Mammography exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates procedure protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
