Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform routine and diagnostic breast imaging with minimal supervision in a controlled outpatient setting. The role requires coordination with Radiologists, patient education, and maintaining equipment quality.

The position emphasizes patient care before, during and after exams, accuracy in imaging, and adherence to safety protocols. Office environment includes standard PPE and exposure controls.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in Mammography – preferred
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patient to ascertain medical history and explains the procedure to obtain the best possible image
• Reviews patient charts for missed information and screens for implants or allergies
• Obtains prior imaging as needed and submits high quality scans for radiologist interpretation
• Performs Mammography exams with patient care before, during and after exam and notifies appropriate party if condition changes
• Transfers images to other locations as needed
• Coordinates procedure protocols with Radiologist
• Maintains and inspects equipment and reports any quality concerns or failures
