Akumin is hiring a Mammography Technologist for South Florida facilities in a PRN, part-time role. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography using 2D/3D systems, gather patient history, and provide clinical history for Radiologists.

Responsibilities include QC per FDA/ACR and supporting other imaging modalities, with attention to MQSA standards and strong patient service. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Mammography Program (State approved).
• ARRT (M).
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
• Must meet MQSA standards.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsabilidades

• Performs mammogram exams on patients.
• Obtains patient history, prior films/reports, and any other supportive information needed.
• Performs Quality Control (QC) needed for FDA/ACR.
• Provides imaging support to other modalities in center (X-ray/bone density).
• Works with mammogram letters (results/reminders).
