Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technician (PRN) to perform routine and diagnostic mammography under radiologist guidance. You will assist during biopsy procedures and ensure quality control and proper documentation.

The role requires an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT radiography/mammography credentials, and BLS certification. Prior digital mammo and stereotactic biopsy experience are a plus in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• AMA accredited program completed for Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography with current licensure.
• BLS certification from HEART/Red Cross is required.
• Experience with digital mammography and biopsy procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography under radiologist direction.
• Assist during minimally invasive biopsy procedures as needed.
• Maintain Quality Control standards and complete documentation.
