Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. in Wheat Ridge, CO, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center on a flexible, as-needed PRN basis.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, ensure patient safety and comfort, and deliver high-quality imaging with compassionate care. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT (M) certification and state licensure (as required).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (M) certification required.
• State licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
• Provide compassionate care and ease patient anxiety during exams.
• Educate patients on procedures and answer questions.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain mammography equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to MQSA requirements and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.
