Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of Infection Control Manual in daily care.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program implementations.
• Identifies and monitors patients in programs per Life Manual guidance.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Provides family and patient education on care plans and medications.
• Administers medications according to facility policy and timing.
• Carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
