Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program (LVN).
• Active LVN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses.
• Obtain vital signs and weigh patients.
• Collect specimens, including phlebotomy.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Support patient flow within the clinic.
• Answer phones and schedule tests/appointments.
• Document patient information and process medication refills.
• Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment per policies.
• Attend meetings and training.
