Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN role at our Idaho facility. The LPN will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, administer medications (including IV therapy if certified), and participate in care planning to support underserved populations.

This position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and adherence to clinical policies. Eligible candidates must be licensed in the state and maintain CPR certification. US residents only.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year clinic experience preferred.
• Current LPN/LVn licensure in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with RNs and staff as needed.
• Implements treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications (including IV therapy if certified), and performing diagnostic tests per protocols.
• Participates in controlled substance counts at shift start, adheres to safety procedures, and responds to health emergencies.
• Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diets, and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to support continuous professional development.
