Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision. You will participate in care planning, administer medications, and support health, safety, and comfort for residents.

Responsibilities include documentation, collaboration with nurses and physicians, and counseling residents and families on care plans.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)

Responsabilités

• Assists with administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Keeps and documents resident care interactions, outcomes and changes.
• Maintains confidentiality and communicates clearly with residents, families and the care team.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary care team to support resident needs.

Formation

LPN license

Practical nursing degree (preferred: ASN/ADN)
