Job summary

Bronson Healthcare in Mattawan is seeking a part-time LPN/RN-PRN to join Bronson Commons. The role involves delivering nursing care under supervision, coordinating within the care team and ensuring timely discharge and patient comfort.

The position requires an RN or LPN nursing degree and Michigan licensure, with geriatrics experience preferred and basic computer skills for documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed RN in good standing with the State of Michigan required.
• Experience in Long Term Care, Rehab, or geriatrics preferred.
• Basic computer skills required and ability to read, interpret, and analyze data from computer systems.
• Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and electronically.

Responsibilities

• Provide selected aspects of nursing care within the scope and coordinate care with other team members.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate the patient’s care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Document and communicate the patient’s response, resources used, and anticipated needs.
• Rotate to all facility units as needed and participate in on-call expectations.
