Job summary

Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Ohio. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and monitor residents under physician orders, collaborating with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and physicians.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, with preferred experience in skilled nursing or rehab.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in good standing.
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience preferred (new grads welcome)
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Heart for serving seniors and those in recovery

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and physicians
• Support rehabilitation goals and promote patient independence
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care every shift
