Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is seeking a PRN LPN or RN for our Center Township, PA location. The schedule will vary. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care, including administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications.
  • Carry out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
  • Document nursing observations and patient care provided.
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
  • Intervene in crises and emergency situations, including admission phone triage.
  • Coordinate with all GRC departments as appropriate.
  • Provide patient health education.
  • Complete employee health duties.
  • Intervene in crises for all GRC departments during off-hours.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions.
  • Good judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years’ experience in the nursing field (preferred).
Additional Requirements
  • PA Criminal Background Check.
  • PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
  • Pass Drug Screen.
  • TB Test.
  • CPR Certification.
Work Conditions
  • Extended care facility treating individuals with substance use disorders.
