Job summary

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse for the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Hickory, NC. The role requires administering medications, maintaining records, and following physician orders in a compassionate, evidence-based setting.

Qualified candidates hold NC LPN licensure (or other state in compact) and will benefit from shift differentials, 401(k) with company matches, PSLF eligibility, ongoing CE opportunities, and CADC/LCAS supervision support.

Qualifications

• Valid NC LPN or LPN from another state that participates in the multi-state nurse licensure compact.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to clients according to medical orders.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping, to include notes as required.
• Perform intake with new clients.
• Ensure doctor’s orders are followed.
• Obtain vital signs from clients as needed or as ordered by the doctor.
• Respond to staff needs – give PPD tests, respond to medical codes.
• Audit charts, ensure medical inventory is stocked.
