Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in our long-term care setting. You will work under supervision of a RN, APN, or physician, administering medications and treatments as ordered, and documenting resident care and outcomes.

Applicants should have a recognized LPN program completion and an LPN license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes per care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to meet resident needs.
