Job summary

Total Medical Personnel Staffing is seeking highly professional PRN (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurses in Oklahoma City or Tulsa. You will reassure patients and families, communicate with doctors, and tend to patient needs in a flexible per diem schedule.

Qualifications

• 6 months of LPN experience is REQUIRED
• Active LPN license is REQUIRED
• Previous hospital, psychiatric, nursing home or clinic experience preferred
• Ability to adapt to working in different facilities is essential

Responsibilities

• Direct or supervise care delivered by other healthcare workers
• Plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs
• Admit new residents and interview patients
• Record medical history and vital signs
• Escort patients to rooms and administer injections
• Keep patient charts updated and accurate
• Observe and record patient conditions and reactions
• Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents

Responsibilities and Duties of (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurses

• Responsible for directing or supervising care delivered by other healthcare workers, including non-licensed nursing staff and other licensed practical nurses

• Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs

• Admitting new residents

• Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
