Total Medical Personnel Staffing in Oklahoma City or Tulsa is seeking highly professional PRN (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurses to reassure patients, communicate with doctors, and tend to patient needs. We offer daily or weekly pay, and vacation pay after the first year, with benefits including health and dental.

Qualifications

• Six months of LPN experience is REQUIRED.
• Active LPN license is REQUIRED.
• Previous hospital, psychiatric, nursing home or clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct or supervise care delivered by other healthcare workers
• Plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs
• Admit new residents
• Interview patients and record medical history
• Obtain patient vital signs and escort patients to their rooms
• Administer injections of medications
• Verify that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
• Observe and record patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
• Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents
