Correctional Healthcare Partners is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our correctional healthcare team in Pierce County Jail. The nurse will provide high-quality care under supervision of RNs and physicians, following established standards and protocols.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program with an active LPN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience (correctional care preferred).

Formación

• Must have current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR card.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting; correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follow nursing processes and policies to ensure care meets standards and accreditation.
• Coordinate with HSA, DON, and RN(s) for healthcare delivery within the facility.
• Utilize EHR with minimal supervision and assist with staff training as requested.
• Take patient history and vital signs; assist with examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications and document in MAR.
• Perform venipuncture and IV therapy as approved by supervisor.
• Assist with triage/sick calls and minor medical procedures; transcribe orders.
• Document prescribed protocol treatments per policies; ensure education compliance.
