Job summary

Riverside Health is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Lifelong Health Float Pool, rotating between two Middle Peninsula facilities in Virginia. The role requires at least 8 shifts per 4 weeks, with 2 weekend shifts, and offers flexible scheduling with starting pay at $39 per hour.

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Nursing management, you will participate in planning and implementing nursing care, ensuring resident comfort and safety while supervising aides as

Qualifications

• LPN nursing experience in a long-term care/senior living facility (Required)
• 1 year LPN nursing experience (Preferred)
• Virginia LPN license required upon hire
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by provider.
• Respect resident choices while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Assign tasks to CNAs and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Document changes in condition and update individual care plans.
