Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shifts in Cartersville, GA. The role is on-site in a group home setting, with a target of at least 2 shifts per month and a pay rate of $32 per hour.

Candidate must hold an active LPN license, CPR certification, and be able to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position involves providing holistic nursing care, coordinating preventive care, and assisting physicians with on-site

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Active LPN license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR certification or eligible to certify.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, gather health data, and report needs to the RN.
• Coordinate preventive and routine medical care.
• Document nursing care provided and maintain records.
• Assist physicians with on-site medical clinics when applicable.
• Provide health-related trainings to unlicensed personnel per state regulations.
• Conduct medication pass observations for staff competency.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure tasks are performed correctly.
• Report abnormal health findings to physicians and coordinate care with the team.
