Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington, part of Perimeter Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Licensed Therapist to join our clinical team in Arlington, TX. You will provide therapeutic services within an interdisciplinary treatment team, supporting patients through their recovery journey.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual/family/group therapy, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Texas licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or equivalent.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire; HWC certification obtained when hired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain communication with families, guardians, and community partners regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services to promote successful transitions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other treatment team members.
• Document assessments, treatment interventions, and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
• Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and support services.
