Job summary

Embassy of Cambridge is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on delivering direct nursing care to residents and supervising nursing assistants to maintain high-quality care in a long-term care setting.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, coordinating with the care team, and participating in planning and improving nursing services. This position requires strong leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with valid Ohio license.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants.
• Ability to supervise according to federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing the facility.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff adherence.
• Complete accident/injury reports as required and document accurately.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate with care teams.
