Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the physical therapy care plan/treatment as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician, according to State Practice Acts.
• Perform clinical tasks, communicate, and document accurately and timely per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures within scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to patient care priorities.
• Complete all required training and in-services timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Licensure, Certification, and Educational Requirements

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited program. Foreign-trained candidates must have their education deemed equivalent to U.S. standards by an approved credential evaluation organization.
