Qualifications

• Recent clinical experience in maternal child care.
• IBCLC certification or eligibility is preferred.
• Experience in teaching and program development.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, organizes, directs, conducts and supervises orientation for obstetrical nursing areas.
• Develops, coordinates, and conducts educational programs.
• Conducts needs assessment for obstetrical staff.
• Assists with basic life support courses.
• Evaluates progress of new orientees during clinical orientation process.
• Promotes the mission/vision of Liberty Hospital.
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
