Job summary

OU Health is seeking a PRN Laboratory Scientist for the Pathology Lab. Under supervision, you will perform routine diagnostic testing and may work with infectious agents. This role requires adherence to safety policies and strict documentation in the lab system.

Minimum qualifications include an MLT or a Bachelor's with science coursework; 0–3 years of experience. The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and ongoing professional development in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0–3 years of experience in a clinical or laboratory setting.
• Certification preferred or required through ASCP/AMT/AABB etc.
• Experience with laboratory safety policies and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and nonwaived lab tests promptly and reliably.
• Comply with hospital and lab safety policies and PPE use.
• Participate in quality activities and regulatory compliance.
• Manage specimens, records, and data in the OUH lab system.
• Operate and maintain instruments within training and protocol scopes.
