Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery unit on a PRN days schedule. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications include RN license, BLS, and at least two years in a relevant role; completion of an accredited nursing program; strong clinical judgment; and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing course or have at least 2 years of experience surpassing the minimal qualification required.
• Field of Study: nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is expected.
• Certification: Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
• Registered Nurse License

Responsibilities

• Prioritize needs. Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Adapt plan as necessary.
• Observe indicators closely, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning.
• Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Build relationships with boundaries in mind. Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering.
• Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
• Use problem-solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.
