Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System is seeking a PRN Utility Worker in the Nutrition Services Department on our 27-acre campus in Philadelphia. The role focuses on maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, and includes dishwashing responsibilities to support patient care and hospital operations.

You will receive deliveries, help stock storage and dining areas, and collaborate closely with the Dietary Staff, reporting to the Food Services Manager to ensure efficient daily service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior food service experience in a hospial, health care or hospitality setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety and infection control practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area; perform dishwashing responsibilities.
• Receive incoming deliveries and maintain stock in storage and dining areas.
• Work closely with the Dietary Staff and report to the Food Services Manager.
