Job summary

Methodist Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology System Resource PRN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across facilities.

The RN coordinates and delivers care, performs procedures, documents care, and educates patients about conditions and follow-up, while traveling between MHS facilities up to 75%.

Requirements include TX RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, 2+ years IR and critical care experience, and conscious sedation expertise.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• TX RN licensure required; compact multistate must endorse to TX within 60 days
• RN Diploma/Associate/Bachelor degree required
• Willingness to travel between MHS facilities up to 75%
• Minimum 2 years' experience as RN in Interventional Radiology
• 2+ years' critical care RN experience
• Conscious sedation experience necessary

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record
• Responds promptly to patient requests and educates patients/families about conditions and follow-up
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures
• Prepares patients for self-management and lifestyle changes
