ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Decatur, TX. This contract position runs for 13 weeks with a daily schedule from 7 AM to 3 PM, focusing on minimally invasive procedures and safe patient care.

The role requires an active RN license and experience with moderate sedation, with IR experience preferred. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to deliver high-quality care in a procedure-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Experience with moderate sedation is a must; candidates not certified may receive certification at the facility.
• Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist in interventional radiology procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placements, and perm catheter placements.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with IR techs and radiologists to deliver quality care.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).
