Beacon Behavioral Inpatient in Bunkie, LA is seeking PRN Therapists to join our inpatient team. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to support recovery and well-being.

The role requires a master’s degree in mental health counseling and applicable licenses (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, P-LPC). Strong communication and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Formación

• Requires master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and valid license eligibility.
• Experience in inpatient hospital or similar setting.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide direct therapy (physical, occupational, or mental health) tailored to patient goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers and others to coordinate care.
• Document progress and maintain records per hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families about therapy goals and strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
