Job summary

Beacon Behavioral Inpatient in Bunkie, LA, is seeking PRN Therapists to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care in an inpatient hospital setting. You will assess needs, develop individualized plans, and provide targeted therapeutic interventions to support recovery and improve quality of life.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and document progress in EHRs in compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling required.
• Licensed: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or P-LPC.
• Inpatient hospital or similar healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine therapy needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions (physical, occupational, or mental health therapies) as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other teams to coordinate care.
• Document patient progress and maintain compliant records.
• Educate patients and families about therapy goals and strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
