Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC invites an Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse PRN to join our team. You will collaborate with patients, families, and care staff to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate individualized rehabilitation plans.

You will maintain accountability for assigned patients, assist with therapeutic exercises, coordinate with rehab therapy, administer medications per orders, and educate patients and families about treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• < 1 year applicable experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice or has an active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients.
• Assist a patient exercise, skin care to prevent breakdown, and proper positioning.
• Coordinate with rehab therapy team to improve mobility, cognition, ADLs and communication.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
