Job summary

MUSC Health in South Carolina seeks a PRN Advanced Practice Provider to care for Cellular Therapy patients in the inpatient setting within the Hematology Oncology Division. The APP will join a busy team, performing comprehensive histories, exams and procedures while maintaining licensure and collaborating with the supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; DHEC and DEA license applications must be started prior to first day.

Responsibilities

• Takes comprehensive history and performs physical examinations.
• Evaluates and treats based on history, physical examination, radiology and lab results according to practice guidelines.
• Performs procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
• Precepts NP/PA students and coordinates care with the supervising physician.
