Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH seeks an Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider to support its hematology program and hematologic malignancies. The role is 100% clinical with 12-hour shifts (daytime, nocturnist, mixed) in a collaborative APP/MD team.

Formación

• NP with a Master of Nursing or PA with a Master’s degree.
• Academic preparation at the Master’s level.
• Certifications: AOCN/AOCNP or CAQ in Hospital Medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Complete/comprehensive history and physical examination.
• Ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Prescribing appropriate treatments in collaboration with the attending physician.
• Consultation with specialist physicians and other team members regarding findings/changes in patient condition.
• Initiation and adjustment of chemotherapy orders in collaboration with the physician.
• Documentation of patient care/procedures per policy.
• Ensuring longitudinal communications with primary hematologist/oncologist and referring providers regarding patient status.
