Job summary

Altus Biologics is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to perform pediatric infusion therapy, provide primary patient care, and support in-office biologic treatments. The role involves IV administration, drug preparation, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The position emphasizes daytime hours, on-site work in Oklahoma City, and opportunities for clinical and operational growth within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• 2+ years of experience working with pediatric patients.
• Active nursing license to practice in the work location.
• Active BLS or ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Infuse medications at assigned locations at least twice a month to cover for site RNs.
• Ensure proper patient care.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the suite.
• Prepare and administer medications.
• Control and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Procure drug inventory for patient appointments.
• Complete administrative paperwork in the EMR system.

Our nursing staff provides IV & Injection therapy to patients with autoimmune diseases in an in-office setting. They are responsible for conducting drug calculations, reconstituting medications, and offering assistance as needed in any other capacity according to established procedures. They provide primary patient care and interact with patients on a regular basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

• At least two times per month, performs infusions at assigned location(s) to cover for site based RNs who are on vacation, leave etc.


• Ensure proper patient care


• Manage day to day operations of the suite


• Preparation and administration of medication


• Control and maintain supplies and equipment


• Manage the procurement of drug inventory for patient appointments


• Completes additional administrative paperwork to ensure care of patient in the EMR system

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse


• 2 or more years of experience working with pediatric patients as a Registered Nurse


• Active nursing license to practice in work location


• Active BLS or ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Infusion experience


• Strong IV skills


• Proficient in Google G-Suite


• Excellent oral and written communication skills
