Job summary

Optum's FlexCare team in Green Valley, AZ is seeking a compassionate RN to deliver IV therapy to pediatric and adult patients on a part-time schedule.

Work hours are Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 16 hours weekly. You will provide direct IV care, prepare medications, and document care under NP supervision while collaborating with providers and supporting order entry and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or equivalent (Diploma/ASN/BSN/MSN) required.
• Active license to practice as an RN in Arizona or Compact license.
• BLS/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure/ONS certification within 90 days.
• Solid IV skills and EMR familiarity.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct IV care for pediatric and adult patients.
• Prepare and administer sterile medications per protocol.
• Monitor infusion reactions under NP supervision.
• Communicate with providers and document clinical assessments.
• Support order entry, lab review, and protocol updates.

Work Schedule: Part-time / 16 hours per week

Clinic Hours: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Location: 560 Continental Rd, Green Valley, AZ

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct IV care for pediatric and adult patients
• Prepare and administer sterile medications per protocol
• Monitor and respond to infusion reactions under NP supervision
• Communicate with providers and document clinical assessments
• Support order entry, lab review, and protocol updates
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality assurance

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Nursing, Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona or Compact (Multistate) RN license
• BLS and/or CPR certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure and/or ONS certification within 90 days
• Solid IV skills
• Familiarity with EMR, Microsoft Office, HIPAA, OSHA, and INS standards

Preferred Qualification:

• Infusion RN experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
