Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license with access to a vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates functional level using diagnostic/prognostic tests; assists in therapy plan.
• Treats patients to communicate effectively and expresses thoughts according to patient condition.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to supervising staff.
• Instructs patient, family, and caregivers in speech therapy areas.
