Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks dedicated in-home Registered Nurses to deliver patient-centered care as 1099 independent contractors. You’ll assess, educate, and administer treatments directly in patients’ homes, building meaningful relationships with families and coordinating with case managers.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, current BLS certification, and are willing to travel across designated service areas.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of practice.
Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current BLS Certification.
Able to pass state and federal background checks.
Malpractice insurance required.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough home health assessments and deliver personalized care.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed with dignity and respect.
Coordinate schedules with patients and align with care plans and approved hours.
Monitor changes in patient condition and report promptly to the care team.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
Communicate with Case Managers and treating physicians for unified care.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families.
