Job summary

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is seeking a PRN ICU RN to join our patient-centered care team. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, using established nursing models to support recovery and outcomes.

You will perform procedures, document care, teach patients and families, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to maintain exceptional standards.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN ICU experience is required.
• Registered Nurse license and RN diploma are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology for patient understanding.
• Manages evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives.
