Job summary

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee County is seeking PRN ICU RNs to join our team, delivering patient-centered critical care in collaboration with the medical staff and care team. The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality care in accordance with department standards and state requirements.

Qualifications

• RN ICU experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan.
