Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Environmental Services II Hospitality Associate to clean areas of the facility per leadership expectations and service standards. You will contribute to a safe, sanitary environment and support patient well-being.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, proper uniform care, hazard reporting, and collaboration with leadership to enhance patient experience across the center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• 2+ years of housekeeping or service-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and sanitation expectations.
• Maintain Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
• Report hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.
• Identify under-serviced and/or unserviced areas and how services can be provided.
• Adapt cleaning processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness around the center.
• Utilize all supplies and resources correctly to eliminate waste.

Education

High School Graduate or Equivalent

2+ years of experience in healthcare

2+ years of experience in housekeeping or service related field

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
• 2 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred
• 2 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB‑GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They also have access to (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
