Community First is hiring a Housekeeper at our Beavercreek location (The Patterson). This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas in a sanitary, safe, and attractive manner in accordance with established Infection Control and Environmental Services (EVS) procedures, as trained and directed by the supervisor. The Housekeeping position ensures the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation while providing exceptional customer service.

Schedule: PRN - Offers Flexible Schedules!

Pay: Up to $15.50 per hour depending on proven work experience (non-negotiable)

Responsibilities:

• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as directed by supervisor, including assigned areas.
• Adhere to all Infection Control Protocols during cleaning.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all assigned areas.
• Clean from top to bottom and double-check work before leaving to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Refill paper towel and soap dispensers as needed.
• Follow protocols for soiled and clean laundry.
• Keep janitor closets and supply rooms clean, organized, and secure.
• Participate in all trainings, meetings, and in-services as requested.
• Report maintenance concerns or issues observed.
• Assist with packing patient belongings during discharges.
• Perform other duties as assigned and appropriate for the role.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: At least one year preferred.
• Ability to operate EVS equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move supplies/equipment, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service skills and respectful communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends may be required.
