Overview

Community First is Hiring a Housekeeper to join our team at our Beavercreek Facility!

Community First is seeking a housekeeper for our Beavercreek location (The Patterson). This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas in a sanitary, safe, and attractive manner, following established Infection Control and Environmental Services (EVS) procedures as trained and directed by the supervisor. The Housekeeping position ensures the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation while providing exceptional customer service.

Schedule: PRN - Offers Flexible Schedules!
Pay: Up to $15.50 per hour depending on proven work experience (non-negotiable)
Responsibilities
  1. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as directed by supervisor, including assigned areas.
  2. Adhere to all Infection Control Protocols during cleaning.
  3. Sweep, mop, and vacuum all assigned areas.
  4. Clean "Top to Bottom" and double-check work before leaving to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  5. Check and refill paper towel and soap dispensers as needed.
  6. Follow protocols for soiled and clean laundry.
  7. Keep janitor closets and supply rooms clean, organized, and secured.
  8. Participate in trainings, meetings, and in-services as requested.
  9. Report maintenance concerns or issues observed.
  10. Assist with packing patient belongings during discharges.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned and appropriate for the position.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses or certifications: None required.

Experience: At least one year preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to operate EVS equipment effectively and safely.
  • Capability to lift, carry, and move equipment or supplies, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • High level of customer service, with courteous and respectful communication with staff, families, and residents.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends if required.
